10.3 Inspection of the Explosion-Proof Device
Check the enclosure protection sequence by following the procedures
below.
1. Turn OFF the power supply to the DX200.
2. Unscrew the hexagon socket head cap screws to remove the cover of
the pressure switch unit. (Refer to Fig. 10-10 "Pressure Switch Unit
Cover".)
3. Perform each checking item below.
3-(1) Checking of Purging Operations
Turn ON the DX200

Confirm the setting value of pressure switch unit operating pressure
and purging pressure
(Each value should be within the range shown in the left)
Turn ON the power supply to the DX200.
Purging start and the message "Air Purging" is indicated on the
programing pendant window. While purging, confirm that no power is
supplied to motors and manipulator is inoperable. Check for
abnormal noises during purging, and air leakage from the gasket of
the inner pressure cover.
Confirm that purging completes in four - six minutes and a message
"Air Purge Done" is indicated on the programing pendant window.
Press [SERVO ON READY] on the programming pendant and grip
the enable switch to turn ON the power supply, and then confirm that
the manipulator is operable.
