CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM
The heater and A/C evaporator unit are installed in the
console located on left side of the cab (Figure 4-8).

Air vents (6 total) for heat and A/C are located on the
posts on left and right sides of the cab and above doors
(Figure 4-9).

Recirculated Air Control
To control the amount of recirculated air, open or close
the louver plate located on the console on the left side
of the cab.
To unlock louver plate:
•
Turn both louver plate knobs (Figure 4-8)
counterclockwise about a half turn.
To open the louver plate:
•
Pull the two louver plate knobs towards the
operator's seat.

To close the louver plate:
•
Push both louver plate knobs away from operator's
seat.
To lock louver plate:
•
Turn the louver plate knobs clockwise until tight to
lock louver plate.
Defroster
To turn on defrost:
Turn heater knob (Figure 4-8) clockwise to HEAT
position and air conditioning knob clockwise to A/C
position. Then turn fan blower speed knob clockwise to
desired fan speed setting of LO (low), MED (medium), or
HIGH.
Heater
To turn on heater:
1.
Turn heater knob (Figure 4-8) clockwise to HEAT
position. Continue turning clockwise to increase
heater temperature (MAX position is warmest
heater temperature setting).
2. Adjust cab vents for desired air flow.
To turn off heater:
•
Turn heater knob counterclockwise to OFF position.
Air Conditioning (A/C)
To turn on air conditioning (A/C):
•
Turn air conditioning knob (Figure 4-8) clockwise
to A/C position. Continue turning clockwise for
colder temperature (MAX position is coldest air
conditioning temperature setting).
Adjust cab vents for desired air flow.
To turn off air conditioning (A/C):
•
Turn air conditioning knob counterclockwise to OFF
position.
Fan
To turn on fan:
•
Turn fan blower speed knob (Figure 4-8) clockwise
to LO position for low speed fan setting. Continue
turning clockwise to MED position for medium fan
speed setting and HI position for high speed fan
setting.
To turn off fan:
•
Turn fan blower speed knob counterclockwise to
OFF position.
