Remove moldboard tilt cylinder by tilting moldboard
forward, removing bolt, and then removing pin.
8. Inspect hydraulic fittings.
9. Remove fittings for reuse in replacement cylinder or
replace if necessary.
Installation
1.
Refer to Preparing Grader for Maintenance on
page 5-6 and park grader.
2. Install fittings on replacement cylinder.
3. Position moldboard tilt cylinder between the
moldboard support frame mount and turntable
support frame mount.
4. Secure cylinder with mounting pins and bolt.
5. Install bolts, washers, and trunnion side plates.
6. Use tags created during removal to properly
reconnect hydraulic hoses to the fittings.
7.
Use a grease gun to lubricate cylinder swivel joints.
8. Start motor grader and check operation.
9. Repair leaks as necessary.
