Engine Oil Filter

The engine oil filter removes contaminates from the
engine oil before it flows through the engine. Following
the recommended maintainence guidelines laid out in
Section 5 will help keep the engine free of contaminants
and the motor grader functioning properly.
The radiator is mounted at the rear of the grader. As
coolant flows through the radiator, airflow from the
engine-driven fan (Figure 2-4) removes heat from the
coolant. This process cools the engine.

Manual for a complete description of the engine.

Electrical System
The electrical system is powered by a two battery
system. Two 12-volt batteries are mounted in the battery
compartment located on the left side of the grader. See
Figure 2-5.
