Maintenance
500 Hour or Semi-Annual
Routine Maintenance
1.
Change fuel filters.
2. Change hydraulic oil filter (see "Changing
Hydraulic Oil Filter" on page page 5-27).
3. Check fuses and circuit breakers. Replace if
required (see "Fuses And Relays" on page 5-31).
4. Check neutral start system. Repair as required (see
"Checking Neutral Start System"on page 5-13).
5. Adjust blade side-shift guides.
6. Check and adjust toe-in as required (see "Checking
and Adjusting Toe-In" on page 5-11).
Hydraulic oil under pressure can
cause serious personal injury. Check for
oil leaks with a piece of cardboard. Do not
expose hands to possible high-pressure oil.
Turn off engine before attempting to tighten
oil lines and fittings.

Check oil lines and fittings for leakage or damage
(see "Checking Oil Lines and Fittings" on page
5-10). Replace parts as required.
8. Perform 500-hour preventative engine maintenance
as described in the engine operator's manual.

1000 Hour or Annual Routine
Maintenance
1.
Clean, pack, and adjust front wheel bearings (see
"Cleaning, Packing, and Adjusting the Front
Wheel Bearings" on page 5-17).
2. Check air intake hoses for damage (see "Checking
Air Intake Hoses" on page 5-10). Replace
damaged parts.
3. Clean and check fuel filler cap (see "Checking and
Cleaning Fuel Filler Cap" on page 5-25).
4. Clean and check hydraulic reservoir filler cap (see
"Checking the Hydraulic Reservoir Filler Cap" on
page 5-28).
5. Drain, flush, and fill transfer case with oil (see
"Checking Transfer Case Oil Level" on page
5-22).
6. Perform 1000-hour preventative engine
maintenance as described in the engine operator's
manual.
2000 Hour Routine Maintenance
7.
Drain, flush, and fill rear drive housing with oil (see
"Checking Rear Axle Oil Level"on page 5-30).
8. Drain, flush, and fill hydraulic reservoir with oil (see
"Draining, Flushing, and Filling Hydraulic Oil
Reservoir" on page 5-29).
9. Drain, flush, and fill engine coolant system with
coolant.
10. Perform 2500-hour preventative engine
maintenance as described in the engine operator's
manual.
