GENERAL INFORMATION

The descriptions and specifications provided in this
section are applicable to the LeeBoy Model 695 Motor
Grader.
This section contains a description of how the major
components operate. It also includes specifications
for the major system components, grader dimensions,
fluid specifications, torque values for tools used on this
grader.

Engine

The 695 Motor Grader uses a Cummins QSB4.5 Tier 3
diesel engine to drive the hydraulic traction pump and
function/steering pump. The four-cylinder engine is
mounted to the rear of the operating platform and is
accessible through doors in the engine cover. (Figure
2-2)
A fuel lift pump mounted on the engine draws diesel fuel
from the fuel tank. The fuel tank is mounted under the

engine.

Information and Specifications
A fuel filter (Figure 2-3) removes contami nants from
the diesel fuel before the fuel flows to the injection
pump for injection into the engine combustion
chamber.
