Address Table Commands

These commands are used to configure the address table for filtering specified
addresses, displaying current entries, clearing the table, or setting the aging time.

mac-address-table Sets the aging time of the address table

mac-address-table static Maps a static address to a port in a VLAN
clear mac-address-table Removes any learned entries from the forwarding
dynamic database
show mac-address-table Displays entries in the bridge-forwarding database PE
show mac-address-table Shows the aging time for the address table
aging-time
show mac-address-table Shows the number of MAC addresses used and the
count number of available MAC addresses
This command sets the aging time for entries in the address table. Use the no form
to restore the default aging time.
Syntax
mac-address-table aging-time seconds
no mac-address-table aging-time
seconds - Aging time. (Range: 10-1000000 seconds; 0 to disable aging)

300 seconds

The aging time is used to age out dynamically learned forwarding information.
