Releasing the DC link protective cover

The protective covers for the DC link on the SINAMICS S120 components feature an

interlocking mechanism, which is operated using a flat bladed screwdriver (1 x 5.5).

Protective cover with interlock

To lock, press the protective cover back on until you hear the interlock engage.

To open the protective cover, use the

screwdriver to slightly turn the

interlocking screw in the direction of the

arrow (counter-clockwise)
