22) Inspection of Valve

Check tilt rod ass'y 1 check valve and valves for dirt and

sediments. Clean if necessary.

23) Installation of PTT Pump and Motor

Use vise to fix PTT unit 1 that is protected at both sides with

wood pieces or aluminum plates.
Assemble valve 3 and PTT pump ass'y 2, and tighten bolt

4 to specified torque.
PTT Pump Bolt :
5.5 N·m ( 4 lb·ft ) [ 0.55 kgf·m ]
Install manual valve 5 and tighten to specified torque.
3.
Manual Valve :
2 N·m ( 1.5 lb·ft ) [ 0.2kgf·m ]
4. Fill pump chamber with PTT fluid to top edge as shown.
Recommended PTT Fluid :
OIL
ATF DEXRON
