18) Installation of Valves

1. Apply oil to valve guide and attach new valve stem seal.
Intake Side : Black
Exhaust Side : Green
Install valve 2, valve spring seat 3, valve spring 4 and

retainer 5 in the order shown, and then, attach valve spring
compressor 6.
Valve Spring Compressor 6 :
P/N. 3AC-99075-0
With valve spring 4 being compressed, use small screw

driver with small amount of grease at the tip to put cotter 7.
Tap retainer 5 with plastic hammer to fix cotter 7 securely.
