Moving to positions in a non-tilted coordinate
system with a tilted working plane: M130
Standard behavior with a tilted working plane
The TNC references coordinates in the positioning blocks to the
tilted working plane coordinate system.
Behavior with M130
The TNC references coordinates in straight line blocks with an
active tilted working plane to the untilted workpiece coordinate
system.
The TNC then positions the tilted tool to the programmed
coordinates of the untilted workpiece coordinate system.
Danger of collision!
Subsequent positioning blocks or fixed cycles are
carried out in a tilted coordinate system. This can
lead to problems in fixed cycles with absolute
prepositioning.
The function M130 is allowed only if the tilted
working plane function is active.
Effect
M130 functions blockwise in straight-line blocks without tool radius
compensation.
