Install a PCIe Card

This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic

discharge. This discharge can cause failure of server components.
1. Determine your first step.
If you are installing a new PCIe card and need an empty PCIe card carrier,

see "Remove a PCIe Card Carrier" on page
If you are replacing a faulty PCIe card and have already removed its carrier

from the server, go to
2. Remove the PCIe card from its packaging.
