11 . External Mixer Amplitude Adjustment

IF Input Amplitude Accuracy

The slope of the ﬂatness compensation ampliﬁers is determined. The

user-loaded conversion losses for K-band are recorded and reset to

30 dB. A 310.7 MHz signal is applied to the power sensor and the power

level of the source is adjusted for a −30 dBm reading. The signal is then

applied to the IF INPUT. The ﬂatness compensation ampliﬁers are then

adjusted (via DACs) to place the displayed signal at the reference level.
