Causes Check procedures/corrective measures
Check if CN5-B10 on the engine PCB goes
low during copying. If not, replace the engine
PCB.
If the level of CN5-2 on the scanner motor
PCB does not change when the original de-
tection switch is turned on and off, replace
the original detection switch.
Check the original and correct if necessary.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check if sensor operates correctly. If not,
replace it or, if necessary, the scanner motor
PCB.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
If any keys do not work after the touch panel
has been initialized, replace the touch panel
or operation unit main PCB.
Reinsert the connector. Also check for
continuity within the connector cable. If
none, remedy or replace the cable.
Check if CN15-9 on the engine PCB goes
low when the upper paper switch is turned
on with 5 V DC present at CN15-7 on the
engine PCB. If not, replace the upper paper
switch.
