4.2.2 Network Settings

The Basic Setup Table include the Network Settings (see figure 4-7), which allows you to assign DHCP or static IP settings to
interfaces and assign default gateways. In the Networking Setting screen, you can set these parts as below:
The page includes the following fields:
Identification:
System Name
System Location
System Contact
System Object ID
Base MAC Address
IP Configuration:
Management VLAN
IP Address Mode
Host Name
IP Address

Input the system name.
Input the location where the Switch is located.
Input the administrative contact person.
The system object identifier is in this field.
Display the MAC address of the Switch.
Allow to select the Management VLAN, the default Managemanet VLAN is VLAN 1.
Where select Static or Dynamic IP address configuration, the Default Mode is Static.
This field allows input the DHCP Host Name.
Allow input the IP address for a static address, the default IP Address is
192.168.1.254.
