Removal

CAUTION:
Be sure to follow the directions for handling Fiber cables in
Fiber Optic, and ESD" on page xxv
procedure.
1. Be sure that the operator has the library and all drives idle and not in use.
2. Open the right front door.
3. Remove power to the library and drives by pressing down on the main circuit breaker.
4. Open the left front door
5. The MPU card is located at the lower right of the MPC/MPCL card. Remove the fiber cable
attached to the MPU card.
6. Using a flat blade screwdriver, loosen the captive screw at the top of the MPU card.
7. Push down on the card latch at the bottom of the card.
