The standard AC power distribution unit (PDU), located behind the right door,
distributes AC line voltage to the tape library and the standard column of drives (Drive
column 0).
If a second PDU is installed, it serves as a redundant supply for the library. It can also
either provide voltage to the entire second column of drives (Drive column 1) or, more
appropriately, may be cross-coupled to the standard PDU (as shown above).
If an error is detected in either PDU, the following events will occur:
1. The power to the drive column controlled by the PDU will shut down.
2. The MPC/MPCL card posts an error to the FSC log.
