2. Disconnect the SCSI Y cable from the MPC/MPCL card, making sure to note whether it connects
to the single-ended or differential connector.

3. Using a Torx T-15 driver, remove the six electronics module cover screws and remove the cover.

4. Disconnect the P/J36, P/J24, P/J53, P/J550 (MPK connector, if present), P/J570, P/J571, P/J551,
and P/J43 connectors from the MPC/MPCL card, making sure to note where each cable is
connected. Refer to the next illustration.
Note: Depending on the tape library's features, you may need to disconnect additional cables
including the Ethernet connector, single-ended jumper (J19S), and PTP power (J283).
