EMOVAL
ITH THROUGH WHEEL SHAFT AND BACK
)
NUT
•
Place the vehicle on the centre stand (if available).
•
Place anyway a support under the motorbike to lift
the front wheel from ground.
•
Unscrew screws "D" fixing the caliper (J
or the calipers (EV - S
fork leg.
•
Remove the caliper/s from the brake disks.
•
Unscrew back nut "B" from the wheel shaft with the
proper wrench part no. 01929300 (see picture on page
2 of this section).
•
Loosen the 4 fastening screws "C" between the shaft
and the fork leg.
•
Remove shaft "A" with its spacers and then remove
the wheel.
Refer to chapter 3 of this section for wheel overhaul.

EASSEMBLY
After carrying out all necessary wheel checks, reassemble
as follows:
•
Place the complete wheel between the fork legs.
•
Lubricate the shank and the thread of the wheel shaft
with the suggested grease.
•
Place the spacers and make the shaft rest on the
wheel hub.
•
Lubricate the thread and the underhead of the lock
nut "B", then screw it on the wheel shaft end.
•
Tighten the 4 screws "C" to the prescribed torque.
•
Lock the nut "B" to the prescribed tightening torque.
•
Check that the disks run freely inside the calipers and
then operate the brake lever repeatedly to bring the
calipers pistons to the normal position.
