Staple home position sensor position adjustment

NOTE
Make this adjustment after any of the following procedures has been performed.
• When the stapler has been replaced.
• When staple position is misaligned.

8. Mechanical adjustment
1. Set the staple mode and make a
print.
2. Check the staple position of the
paper.
• 1-point tilted staple
(Paper width: 216 to 297 mm)
Specification A: 6.5 mm ± 1.5 mm
3. If the staple position does not fall
within the specified range, make an
adjustment as shown below.
5. Loosen the screw [1] and make the
adjustment by shifting stapler home
sensor [2] in the direction of an
arrow.
