▣ ▣ OIL SEAL INSPECTION
Damage to the lip of the oil seal may result in leak-
age of the engine oil. Inspect the oil seal for wear or
damage. If any damages are found, replace the oil
seal with a new one.
▣ ▣ OIL SEAL REMOVAL
● Remove the oil seal retainer ① .
● Remove the oil seal ② .
CAUTION
Replace the removed oil seals with new ones.
▣ ▣ OIL SEAL INSTALLATION
● Install the oil seals into the crankcase. Pay atten-
tion to the following points :
● Apply SUPER GREASE "A" to the lip of the oil
seals.
