OIL PUMP

● Remove the outer rotor ① , inner rotor ②

Inspect the outer rotor ①
scratches or other damage.
If any damages are found, replace them with new
ones.
CAUTION
The oil pump case securing screw ④ ④
with THREAD LOCK "1324". If an attempt is made
to overhaul the oil pump assembly, the screw
may be damaged. Only the oil pump unit is avail-
able as a replacement.

● Apply engine oil to the sliding surfaces of the oil
pump inner rotor, outer rotor and shaft.
● When installing the inner rotor ② , align the pin ③
with the groove ⑤ .
● When installing the outer rotor, face the punched
mark ⑥ on the outer rotor to the outside.
