● Remove the steering shaft holder bolts.
● Remove the cable/hose guide and the steering
shaft holder.
● Remove the steering shaft ① .
● Remove the bushing ②
the steering shaft.
● Remove the steering shaft holder half.
◉ ◉ INSPECTION
Inspect the removed parts for the following abnormal-
ities.
�Handlebar distortion
�Handlebar clamp wear
▣ ▣ DUST SEALS AND O-RING
Inspect the dust seal ③
damage.
If any damages are found, replace the dust seal or
O-ring with new ones.
▣ ▣ TIE ROD
Inspect the tie rod for distortion or damage.
If any damages are found, replace the tie rod with a
new one.
