● Remove the oil strainer screw.
● Clean the oil strainer using compressed air.

Wash the bearing with a cleaning solvent and lubri-
cate it with motor oil before inspection. Rotate the
inner race and check to see that it turns smoothly. If
it does not turn quietly and smoothly, or if there are
signs of any abnormalities, the bearing is defective
and must be replaced with a new one as follows.
