CAUTION
The lock nuts ③ ③
with a narrow width have left-
hand threads.
▣ ▣ TIE ROD END
Inspect the tie rod ends for smooth movement.
If there are any abnormalities, replace the tie rod end
with a new one.
Inspect the tie rod end boot for wear or damage.
If any damages are found, replace the tie rod end
with a new one.
▣ ▣ STEERING SHAFT
Inspect the steering shaft ⑤
If any damages are found, replace the steering shaft
with a new one.
▣ ▣ STEERING SHAFT BUSHING
Inspect the steering shaft bushing ⑥
damage.
If any damages are found, replace it with a new one.
▣ ▣ STEERING SHAFT HOLDER
Inspect the steering shaft holders for wear or dam-
age.
If any damages are found, replace the steering shaft
holders with new ones.
