Problem Determination and Service Guide
Action
1. Check the system-event log.
2. Check the microprocessor
error LEDs.
3. Remove the failing
microprocessor from the
microprocessor board.
4. Check for a server firmware
update.
Important:
solutions require specific code
levels or coordinated code
updates. If the device is part
of a cluster solution, verify that
the latest level of code is
supported for the cluster solution
before you update
the code.
5. Make sure that all of the
installed microprocessors are
matching.
6. (Trained service technician
only) Replace the microprocessor
board.
1. Check the system-event log.
2. Check the DIMM error
LEDs.
3. Remove the failing DIMM
from the memory board.
4. Check for a server firmware
update.

DIMMs are supported and
configured correctly.
