Step 5 Install the top cover bracket (see "Replacing the top-cover bracket").
Step 6 Install the top cover (see "Replacing the top cover").
Step 7 Connect the cables and power cords (see "Connecting the cables" for cabling instructions).
Step 8 Turn on all attached devices and the server.
Step 9 Restore the RAID configuration information that you backed up before you removed the
RAID card carrier and the RAID card assembly.

Removing the hard disk drive backplane and cable assembly
Important: Before you remove the hard disk drive backplane cable assembly from the server,
take the following precautions to save data, firmware, and configuration data:

Issue 02 (2011-05-25)
Before you make changes to disk drives, disk drive controllers (including controllers that
are integrated on the system board), disk drive backplanes, or disk drive cables, back up
all important data that is stored on hard disks.
