Use the backup copy of the server firmware until the primary copy is restored. After the
primary copy is restored, turn off the server; then, move the UEFI boot recovery J22 jumper
back to the primary position (pins 1 and 2).

6.2.5 Using the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD

The ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD provides software setup tools and installation
tools that are designed for your server. The ServerGuide program detects the server model
and optional hardware devices that are installed and uses that information during setup to
configure the hardware. The ServerGuide program simplifies operating-system installations
by providing updated device drivers and, in some cases, installing them automatically.
The ServerGuide program requires a supported HUAWEI server with an enabled startable
(bootable) CD drive. In addition to the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD, you must
have your operating-system CD to install the operating system.
To start the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD, complete the following steps:
Step 1 Insert the CD, and restart the server. If the CD does not start, see "ServerGuide problems" in
the Problem Determination and Service Guide on the HUAWEI Documentation CD.
