Likewise, load the remaining postcards and
align the edges of the postcards in the arrow
direction (1). Pinch the left short-side paper
guide and slide it to the desired paper size (2).
Important • Do not load paper exceeding the maximum

Loading Envelopes

Envelopes can be loaded in Tray 5 (Bypass) and Tray 6 (HCF B1-S).
The following size envelopes can be loaded.
Standard Size
- No.3 standard envelopes
- No.2 standard envelopes
- C5
- C4
Non-Standard Size
- Width (Y) 100 - 330 mm, length (X) 148 - 488 mm
When the envelope width is less than 182 mm, be sure to attach the Post Card Kit to Tray 6
(HCF B1-S).

• If the number of sheets is 100 or less, the
paper guides touch too tightly against the
paper, causing paper to deform and resulting
in paper jams.
• Position the guides correctly to match the
paper size. Otherwise, the paper may not be
fed properly and cause paper jams.
• When removing the Post Card Kit from the
tray, completely loosen the screw before
removing the kit. Place the removed Post
Card Kit back to its original location (1). Then,
tighten the screw for storing (2).

• Carefully fan the paper before loading it in a tray. Otherwise, paper jams may occur or multiple
sheets may be fed to the machine simultaneously.
• When loading envelopes, be sure to adjust the position of the weight switch buttons. For more
information, refer to "About Weight Switch Buttons" (P.66).
