15-3. PC Drum Paper Separator Fingers Moving Mechanism
<Mechanism>
The PC Drum Paper Separator Fingers, together with the Paper Separator
Corona, ensure good separation of paper from the PC Drum after image transfer
has taken place.
The Paper Separator Fingers are made of metal with their tips ground to mini-
mize damage to the surface of the PC Drum.
There are three Paper Separator Fingers provided to cope with any paper size.
The Paper Separator Fingers are pressed against the surface of the PC Drum to
positively separate paper from it. Further, to minimize damage to the PC Drum,
the Fingers are moved back and forth.
