13-1. Paper Dust Remover

The Upper Transport Roller and Upper Synchronizing Roller are each equipped

with a Paper Dust Remover to prevent paper dust from sticking to the surface of the

Since these two rollers are covered with a vinyl tubing, triboelectric charging occurs

as the rollers turn in contact with the Paper Dust Remover.

As paper is fed through the rollers, the charges on the tubing attract paper dust

from the paper. The dust is then transferred onto the Paper Dust Remover.
