PC DRUM

6
The copier uses an OPC (organic photocondutor) drum.
* The drum consists of an aluminum base coated with a carrier generation layer
and a charge holding layer.
The drum provides good spectral sensitivity in the near infrared range.
(Usage Precautions)
Protracted exposure to extraneous light can cause the drum surface to suffer light
fatigue, resulting in a loss of optical sensitivity. If the drum is removed from the unit,
it should be wrapped in a soft clean cloth or other protective covering to prevent
lengthy exposure to ambient light.
