About Maintenance
Maintenance are operations to keep the printer in good condition.
To carry out maintenance of the printer, select [MAINTENANCE] from the function menu
and set each necessary details.
Introduction of the Maintenance Functions
In order to execute any of the maintenance functions, it is necessary to perform the following
operation on the touch panel.
You have to understand introduction of the maintenance functions to carry out maintenance.
STEPS:
1. Touch the [FUNCTION] in the LOCAL
mode.
2. Touch the JOG [ ] or [ ] to select the
[MAINTENANCE].
3. Touch the [ENTER].
4. Select the next operation.

Adjusts the table height in accordance with the media thickness.
Adjusts the dot position after changing the head gap.
Cleans the inside of the station.
Performed when nozzle clogging is not recovered.
Cleans ink drops on the surface of the nozzles.
Sets the interval of the wiping.
Cleans the under surface of the carriage.
Changes the combination of ink.
Changes the ink.
Replaces the water for the water heater tank.
Performs periodic maintenance for the white ink.
Select a head for small amount cleaning when power on.
Performs confirmation and setting, etc. of the irradiation indensity
of UV lamp.
Displays the firmware version and the serial number of the printer.
When white ink is set, it changes the setting to perform refresh
operation for white ink.
