How to Read this Operation Manual
Display on the Touch Panel
In this manual, the characters displayed on the LCD of the touch panel are explained, to-
gether with the STEPS.
Display on the LCD
The contents of display are shown by characters in
a box as follows.
Operate the printer according to the explanation of
the operation procedure and the content of display
on the LCD.
In this manual, each setting and messages dis-
played on the LCD is enclosed in [ ], like [TYPE.1],
[PLEASE WAIT], etc.
LOCAL mode screen
Operation
In the text of this operation manual, the operation are explained with [ ] used.
[ ] and [ ] indicate JOG.
The other operation are explained with brackets enclosed as [FUNCTION].

JOG [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
They are used to shift the carriage and the media
under the LOCAL mode. In addition they are used
to select a set value.
