4) Installation of Bottom Cowl

Set bushing 1 to the position of 10cm from the bottom of

shift rod 2.
2. Install bottom cowl to drive shaft housing. Be sure to insert
water pipe to grommet 3 of the drive shaft housing.
3. Tighten bottom cowl installation bolts to specified torque.

5) Disassembling of Exhaust Pipe

1. Loosen and remove five bolts that secure exhaust pipe to
bottom cowl. Remove exhaust pipe.
2. Check exhaust pipe and water pipe for corrosion and
deformation. Replace if necessary.

6) Assembling of Exhaust Pipe

Install water pipe and collar 1 as shown.

2. Tighten exhaust pipe installation bolt to specified torque.
Exhaust Pipe Bolts :
9 N · m (7 lb · ft) [0.9 kgf · m]
