28) Assembling Cylinder Head Parts
1. Attach cylinder head and cylinder head gasket to cylinder.
Tighten cylinder head securing bolts (M8)
order of the numbers shown.

2. Install thermostat, thermo-cap and gasket.
29) Installing Reed Valve and
Intake Manifold
Attach reed valve, intake manifold and gaskets 1 to crank

case.
Temporary Tightening :
12 N · m (9 lb · ft) [1.2 kgf · m]
Final Tightening :
25 N · m (18 lb · ft) [2.5 kgf · m]
Tighten cylinder head securing bolts in two steps
to specified torque.
Thermostat cover bolt:
6 N · m (4 lb · ft) [0.6 kgf · m]
