Dublin

The Dublin ProCurve Secure Router is responsible for advertising the Dublin
LAN to the ABR at Berlin and for receiving summary advertisements for the
networks at Berlin, Mannheim, and Prague.
These summary advertisements allow the Dublin router to forward traffic to
hosts at the Berlin and Prague sites. The Dublin router should use its ISDN
connection to forward traffic to Mannheim. Its routing table should include
static routes (which take precedence over the OSPF routes) to the Mannheim
networks through a demand interface.
The static routes to Mannheim in the Dublin router's routing table must be as
specific as, or more specific than, the routes that the ABR advertises. In this
example, the ABR does not summarize the range of networks in the Mannheim
area, so the Dublin router should have two separate static routes through the
demand interface: one to each of the two networks at Mannheim.
These steps configure IP routing on the Dublin router:
1. Configure the loopback interface that will identify the router to other
OSPF routers.

Dublin(config-loop 1)# ip address 192.168.193.3 /24
2. Manually add a default route for external traffic through the interface that
connects to the local router's ISP.
Dublin(config)# ip route 0.0.0.0 /0 ppp 1
3. Access the OSPF configuration mode.
Dublin(config)# router ospf
4. Advertise the LAN, as well as the network that the Dublin router uses to
connect to the network backbone (Berlin) router. Place both networks in
area 3.
