Berlin

The ProCurve Secure Router at this central site is the area border router
(ABR). It connects both to the network backbone and to the stub areas. The
router also provides a connection to the Internet for the Berlin LAN.
The Berlin router must fulfill these tasks:
receive advertisements from WAN routers in the stub areas for networks
in those areas
advertise networks in one area to routers in other areas, if necessary
summarizing the range of networks in the area into a single advertisement
distribute a default route for external (Internet) traffic to other routers or
routing switches in the Berlin LAN
