3 Configuring the Storage System
The IP address of the iSCSI host port on the controller is in the format of
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. For details on how to set the IP address of the iSCSI host port on the
controller, see
Step 9 Enter the command :wq to save the settings and exit from the file editing interface.
Step 10 Enter the command /etc/init.d/iscsi restart to restart iSCSI service.

3.10 Adding a Port

The host on the OSM3.0 interface cannot be mapped to an AS unless a port has been added to
it.
Prerequisite
When setting up the two-node system cluster environment, you need to add ports to the two
hosts created in
to the cluster primary node and the cluster secondary node separately.
Procedure
Step 1 On the OSM3.0 main interface, click Mapping. In the Mapping navigation tree, click a host.
The interface showing the information about the host is displayed. See

If the multipath software is installed on the AS side, you need to add Multipath=portal and
ConnfailTimeout=1. The following information is displayed:

If the connection between ASs and the storage system succeeds to be set up, you can see Port Connection
Status of the AS displays Connected on the Add Port interface of the Web UI. For details, see
