To enable the AS to gain continuous access to a storage device through this target portal, it is

recommended that you select Automatically restore this connection when the system boots.
If UltraPath software is installed on the AS, Enable multi-path does not need to be selected.

In Figure 3-24, if you do not select Enable multi-path, you need to keep the default settings in

3-25. Choose Default from the Local adapter, Source IP, and Target Portal drop-down list boxes.
In Figure 3-24, if you select Enable multi-path, you need to set the parameters in

choose Microsoft iSCSI Initiator from the Local adapter drop-down list box; choose the IP address
of the NIC port on the AS from the Source IP drop-down list box; choose the IP address of the iSCSI
host port on a controller from the Target Portal drop-down list box.
