Procedure
Step 1 On the OSM3.0 main interface, click System. In the System navigation tree, click System
Information. The System Information interface is displayed. See
Step 2 Click Primary/Secondary Switchover. The Confirm dialog box is displayed.
Step 3 Enter yes. Click OK. The system displays Please wait....

On the OSM3.0 main interface, click System. In the System navigation tree, click Controller
Information. The Controller Information interface is displayed. Now, you can check the
Pimary/Secondary Status after switching.

4.1.4 Synchronizing the System Time

Synchronization of the system time facilitates analysis of failures and logs.
Context
When the time on the S5600 is different from the time on the maintenance terminal, that is, the
user client, you can synchronize the time on the maintenance terminal to that on the S5600.
When the time difference between the system and the maintenance terminal exceeds five
minutes, you can synchronize the system time.
Procedure
Step 1 On the OSM3.0 main interface, click System. In the System navigation tree, click System
Information. The System Information interface is displayed. See
Step 2 Click Synchronize System Time. The Confirm dialog box is displayed.
Step 3 Enter yes. Click OK. The system displays "Operation succeeds".
