4.2.2 Setting the Trap IP Address

You can modify the trap IP address and port number so that alarms can be sent to the specified
AS or maintenance terminal.
Procedure
Step 1 On the OSM3.0 main interface, click Alarm. The Current Fault interface is displayed. In the
Alarm navigation tree, click Configuration Operation. The Alarm Email interface is
displayed. Click the Trap IP tab. The Trap IP interface is displayed. See

Step 2 Click Modify. The Set Trap IP interface is displayed. See

Description
This parameter indicates the SMTP user name of the sender.
NOTE
When sender send alarm email by using the SMTP server, the SMTP server
system prompts sender to enter the SMTP user name and password for ID
authentication.
This parameter indicates the SMTP user password.
NOTE
When sender send alarm email by using the SMTP server, the SMTP server
system prompts sender to enter the SMTP user name and password for ID
authentication.
This parameter indicates the receiver email.
NOTE
Separate multiple receiver emails with semicolons.
