Step 3 Enter a new Trap IP address and a new Port Number.
Step 4 Click OK. The Confirm dialog box is displayed.
Step 5 Click OK. The system displays "Operation succeeds".

4.2.3 Setting the Alarm Buzzer

On the S5600, the main function of the DIP switch is to reset the alarm buzzer. By default, the
button on the Server Alarm Buzzer Settings bar is in the On state.

Step 1 On the OSM3.0 main interface, click Alarm. The Current Fault interface is displayed. In the
Alarm navigation tree, click Configuration Operation. The Alarm Email interface is
displayed. Click the Alarm Buzzer tab. The Set Alarm Sound interface is displayed. See
4-8.

NOTE
Each field of the IP address can be only a number ranging from 0 to 255. The number of the first field

ranges from 1 to 223. Avoid using special IP addresses such as broadcast IP address, gateway IP address,
and so on.
The port number can be only a number ranging from 0 to 65535.

Alarm sound on the client: If the button on the Set the alarm sound on the client bar is
in the On state, the alarm sound is closed. No alarm sound is played when a fault occurs
in the system.
Alarm buzzer on the server: If the button on the Server Alarm Buzzer Settings bar is in
the On state, the alarm sound is closed. The alarm buzzer of controller subrack does not
buzz when a fault occurs in the system.
