Example
For example, to set the IP address of the management network port on controller A to
10.147.124.238, enter the following command:
OceanStor: admin> chgctrlip -c a -a 10.147.124.238 –s 255.255.254.0 –g 10.147.124.1
For details on how to set the IP address of the management network port, see the OceanStor
S5000 Series Storage System Command Reference. If any exception occurs when you set the IP
addresses for the controllers, contact Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (Huawei for short) for
technical support. For details on how to obtain help, see Appendix A "How to Obtain Help."

1.7 Logging in to the OSM3.0

Preparations and steps to log in to the OSM3.0.

To ensure the normal display of the OSM3.0 interface, necessary settings must be done for the
IE before you log in to the OSM3.0.

sites.

To access the storage system normally, it is recommended to install Windows 2003 or
Windows XP on the maintenance terminal and use IE 6.0 or a later version.
If Windows 2003 is used, the security level of the IE must be changed from high to middle
or lower.
Choose Tools > Internet Options....
Click the General tab.
In the Temporary Internet files area, click Settings.... The Setting dialog box is
displayed.
In the Check for newer versions of stored pages area, select Automatically.
Click OK. The Settings dialog box is closed.
Click OK. The Internet Options dialog box is closed.
Choose Tools > Internet Options....
Click the Security tab.
Click Trusted sites.
