1 Process of the Initial Configuration
Step 5 Enter the user name and the password. See
The initial user name of the system administrator is admin. The initial password is 123456. The
initial user name of a common user is viewer. The initial password is 123456. After the first
login, you need to change the password to ensure the system security. The system allows the
password of the admin user to be null. The admin user has the permission to change the password
of the viewer user. The viewer user cannot change password by himself/herself. You can change
the password on the CLI only. For details on how to change the password, see the OceanStor
S5000 Series Storage System Command Reference.

Step 6 System authentication succeeds, and you log in to the CLI.

1.6.2 Logging in to the CLI Through the Management Network Port

This topic describes how to log in to the CLI through the management network port.
Context
After connecting the maintenance terminal to the management network port of the controller
subrack, you can log in to the CLI through the remote login software that supports the SSH
protocol.
