3 Configuring the Storage System
Prerequisite
Take Windows Server 2003 as an example, to use a LUN on the AS, perform the following
steps. For other Windows operating systems, you need to adjust the operation process according
to the actual conditions.
Context
When a Windows AS copies files, pay attention to the following:

Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the Windows AS as a user of the administrator group.
Step 2 Choose Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management. The
Computer Management window is displayed.
Step 3 Check whether the AS is installed with the UltraPath.
In the navigation tree on the left of the Computer Management window, choose System
Tools > Device Manager. Then expand the SCSI and RAID controllers node on the right. If
Multi-Path Support is displayed, it indicates that the UltraPath is installed. See

For the FAT file system, the size of a single file cannot exceed 2 GB.
For the FAT32 file system, the size of a single file cannot exceed 4 GB.
For the NTFS file system, the size of a single file cannot exceed 2 TB.
