3 Configuring the Storage System

Step 4 Select free disks from the storage system as the member disks of a RAID 5 group.
To create a RAID 5 group, select at least 3 free disks.
Step 5 Click OK. The Confirm dialog box is displayed.
Step 6 Click OK. The system prompts "Operation succeeds."

3.2.4 Creating a RAID 6 Group

RAID 6 is applied to the scene that has high requirements for reliability and performance, such
as the database and the server. You can create RAID 6 conveniently through the OSM3.0.
Procedure
Step 1 Click Service in the OSM3.0. Expand the RAID Group node in the Service navigation tree.
ClickRAID Group Management.
Step 2 On the right of the RAID Group Management interface, click Create RAID Group . The
Create RAID Group interface is displayed. See

Step 3 Enter parameters for creating RAID 6.
