Step 6 You can perform settings according to the actual conditions. In this example, enter the command
mkfs.ext3 /dev/sdb1 create the file system for sdb1. The interface is displayed as follows:

Step 7 Run the following command to create a directory. Then assign a name to the directory as required.
mkdir /directoryname
Step 8 Run the following command to mount the device to the directory:
mount /dev/sdb1 /directoryname
----End
Result
After that, the S5600 can be used to access data.
If an AS uses a LUN successfully and you want to delete the port of the host corresponding to
the LUN, you need to run the umount command on the AS first. Otherwise, the AS fails to use
the LUN again. Enter the following command:
umount /dev/sdb1

NOTE
Before deleting the mapping of an LUN on the OSM3.0 main interface, you need to run the umount
command on the AS.
