6.10.2 Removing the Back Angle Adjustment Actuator

Preparation:
❒ Move the seat into the standing position until the screws are freely accessible.
❒ Fold the backrest down (see Section 3.3).
Tools:
❒ 2 x Allen wrench size 5
Steps:
1. Pull the cotter pin and remove the actuator from the collar bushing (see Fig. 53, Item 6).
2. Loosen the two Allen head screws and remove them and the washers (see Fig. 53, Items 4, 5).
3. Remove the threaded axle (Fig. 53, Item 2).
4. Remove actuator (see Fig. 53, Item 2) and replace if required.
Properly reassemble all components upon completion of the work.
