    Operation 1) Manoeuvre the wheelchairs so that they are positioned at an angle of approx. 45° degrees to each other (see Fig. 9).     Operation 5.3.6.2 Use of the drum brake The drum brakes allow the attendant to comfortably and safely brake the wheelchair by actuating the brake lever: 1) Pull the brake lever (see Fig. 34, item 1). 2) If necessary, secure the brake lever by additionally actuating the red locking slide.     Maintenance / repair • If the wheelchair becomes wet, it should be rubbed dry again as quickly as possible. • Bolted connections should be periodically checked for tightness, especially during the initial period of use or after making adjustments to the wheelchair. If the bolted connection comes loose several time, inform your dealer imme­ diately.
